Summary: AppliReport does NOT collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any servers. All your data stays on your device.
What Data We Access
AppliReport requests read-only access to your Gmail account to scan for job application emails. This includes:
- Email subjects, senders, and body content
- Your email address (to verify subscription status)
How We Use Your Data
Your email content is processed locally on your device to identify job applications. We use this data to:
- Detect job application confirmations, interviews, offers, and rejections
- Display your job applications in an organized dashboard
- Provide links back to the original emails in Gmail
Data Storage
All job application data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage. This data:
- Never leaves your computer
- Is not transmitted to any external servers
- Is not accessible to AppliReport or any third parties
- Can be deleted at any time through the extension settings
Third-Party Services
AppliReport uses the following third-party services:
- Gmail API: To read your emails (with your explicit permission via OAuth)
- DeepSeek API: To classify emails as job-related or not. Only email content is sent for classification - no personal identifiers.
- Stripe: To process subscription payments. We do not store your payment information.
- Supabase: To verify subscription status using only your email address.
What We Do NOT Do
- We do NOT sell your data to anyone
- We do NOT store your emails on our servers
- We do NOT track your browsing activity
- We do NOT modify or delete your emails
- We do NOT share your data with advertisers
Data Retention
Your job application data remains on your device until you choose to delete it. You can clear all data at any time through the extension's settings menu.
Your Rights
You can:
- Disconnect your Gmail account at any time
- Delete all stored data through the extension settings
- Revoke Gmail access via your Google Account settings
- Uninstall the extension to remove all local data
